Vanessa Bird, The Aesthetic Consultant, Speaks at IACD Budapest 2025

In June 2025, I had the pleasure of flying to Budapest to speak at the International Academy of Cosmetic Dermatology (IACD), a global dermatology conference bringing together dermatologists, aesthetic doctors, and industry leaders from across the world.
As an aesthetic business consultant I was invited to present two talks during the practice management sessions. My first presentation focused on ethical selling in aesthetic medicine, a much-needed skill in today’s more informed and value-conscious market. The second session explored the importance of delivering a 5-star patient experience; something that can no longer be considered optional in premium aesthetic clinics.
I was also honoured to chair a specialist session on practice growth and management, helping delegates navigate the challenges of running a successful medical aesthetics business while maintaining clinical integrity and strong patient trust.
Alongside the educational sessions, the IACD Gala Dinner was held on board a riverboat as it cruised down the Danube which was an opportunity to connect with peers, industry contacts and speakers from across the globe.
International speaking engagements like IACD are a reminder of how vital business education is to the long-term success of aesthetic medicine. With rising competition and increasingly sophisticated patients, clinics need strategy, structure, and standout service. It was an honour for me, Vanessa Bird, to speak at IACD Budapest, 2025.
