I am delighted to announce that my abstract, The Authority Paradox: Why Clinical Excellence Alone Does Not Always Create Professional Influence, has been accepted as an oral presentation at IMCAS China 2026.

As an international business consultant and conference speaker specialising in aesthetic medicine, I will be presenting this lecture to delegates attending IMCAS China in August 2026.

The presentation explores an important challenge facing many aesthetic practitioners today: why exceptional clinical skill and outstanding patient outcomes do not always translate into professional influence, industry recognition or commercial success.

Drawing on years of observational research across aesthetic clinics, this presentation examines the difference between clinical excellence, professional authority, patient confidence, practice growth and industry positioning. It highlights practical strategies that help practitioners strengthen their credibility while maintaining ethical patient care.

Being selected to present at IMCAS China is a privilege and reflects the growing international interest in the commercial and communication aspects of aesthetic medicine alongside clinical excellence.

I look forward to sharing this research with colleagues from around the world and contributing to the ongoing advancement of education within the global aesthetics industry.
